Questions, answered. — Peak Medical Esthetics and Peptide Research

No. Peak Medical Esthetics and Peptide Research, LLC provides personal research and development consulting only. We do not diagnose, treat, cure, or prescribe; therapeutic decisions belong with a licensed physician who oversees your care.

No. We never supply compounds and we do not write prescriptions. Our service is purely consultative — we synthesize research and advise on protocol structure, which you then discuss with your own medical provider who is legally permitted to prescribe.

Telehealth clinics prescribe and ship compounded peptides under physician supervision. We do neither. Instead, we function as a research and advisory layer: we help you understand the evidence, compare compounds, evaluate suppliers, and structure a protocol you can take to a prescribing clinician for medical approval.

Our consulting suits researchers, clinicians, biohackers, and informed individuals who want an evidence-structured understanding of peptides — including those already working with a prescriber who want a second look at their stack, dosing logic, or sourcing.

Peptides are short chains of amino acids (typically 2–50) that act as signaling molecules in the body. They influence processes like hormone release, tissue repair, immune function, inflammation control, and cellular energy. Because many occur naturally, they are a frequent target of regenerative and longevity research.

No. Peptides are short amino-acid chains that signal the body's own pathways. Steroids are synthetic hormone analogs; hormones like HGH are larger proteins. Some peptides, such as secretagogues, encourage your body to release more of its own growth hormone — they are not exogenous hormones themselves.

Safety depends on the specific peptide, dose, route, individual health context, and medical oversight. When prescribed and monitored by a qualified provider using regulated pharmacies, many peptides are well tolerated. Self-sourced 'research' peptides used without labs or guidance carry materially higher risk. We frame risk transparently and flag where evidence is limited.

Reported effects vary by compound but can include injection-site irritation, flushing, water retention, headache, fatigue, appetite changes, or transient hormone fluctuations. More serious concerns arise with untested suppliers, contamination, or dosing far outside studied ranges. A full risk review is part of any protocol consultation.

We can map the evidence behind each compound relative to your stated goal, flag what's well-supported vs. emerging, and recommend a structured approach. We will not tell you to take a specific compound — that decision belongs with your prescribing clinician after evaluating your labs and history.

Baseline labs (hormone panels, inflammatory markers, metabolic and organ-function markers) tell you whether a pathway is actually dysregulated and give you a comparison point later. Without labs you're operating blind — you can't confirm a peptide is doing anything or catch an adverse shift. We always recommend baseline and follow-up labs managed through your physician.

Medical-grade peptides are produced by FDA-registered compounding pharmacies under USP standards, dispensed by prescription, and accompanied by certificates of analysis. 'Research-grade' peptides are labeled for laboratory use only, are not FDA-regulated for human use, and their purity and sterility may be uncertain. We help you understand this distinction and what to ask any supplier.

Look for lot-specific COAs (not generic spec sheets), confirm third-party lab identity, and check that testing includes both HPLC purity and mass spectrometry. Red flags include in-house-only testing, no lot number, purity below 98% without explanation, missing endotoxin data, and prices far below market. A COA review is a stand-alone service we offer.

Reputable suppliers typically target ≥98% purity verified by HPLC, with mass spectrometry confirming identity, plus sterility and endotoxin testing for injectable compounds. Single-method COAs are generally insufficient. We document these benchmarks as part of a supplier comparison report.

Lyophilized (powder) peptides are usually stable for weeks to months when kept dry, cold, and away from light; manufacturers recommend -20°C for long-term storage. Once reconstituted with bacteriostatic water, most peptides should be refrigerated at 2–8°C and used within about 4 weeks. We provide storage guidance with every protocol.

We do not endorse vendors or take referral fees. We compare suppliers against objective benchmarks — licensing, testing documentation, chain of custody, and storage/shipping practices — so you can make an informed choice and bring it to your prescriber.

Every engagement starts with a guided inquiry. You share your goals and relevant history, we review them against the current literature, and we recommend the level of support that fits — from a single review session to a full 12-week research roadmap or ongoing monthly advisory. Start from the Start Inquiry button.

Core engagements include Basic and Advanced consultation, a Premium 12-Week Research Roadmap, and Ongoing Monthly Research Support. Add-ons cover protocol audits, COA/HPLC/LC-MS documentation review, supplier comparison reports, custom reference sheets, and inventory/calendar setup. See the Services page for details and pricing.

A full protocol design typically takes 2–3 weeks from intake to a finalized, cited document — depending on the complexity of your goals and the availability of relevant research. Add-on reviews are delivered within 5 business days unless stated otherwise.

Absolutely. Protocol auditing is a stand-alone service. Send us what you're currently running and we'll review it for evidence basis, redundancy, timing, and safety considerations — then suggest questions to raise with your prescriber.

For most research roadmaps we recommend a review at the end of each cycle (typically 4–12 weeks) and whenever you add, remove, or significantly change a compound. Ongoing Monthly Research Support includes scheduled check-ins so your plan evolves with new evidence.

Yes. We operate remotely and consult with clients globally. Our guidance is framed for educational purposes and may not account for regulations specific to your jurisdiction — please confirm local rules with a licensed provider.

Browsing is open to everyone. Members-only tools — the Store, the Peptide Dosage & Reconstitution Calculator, your saved Protocols, order history, and the Community Forum — require a free account so your private data stays tied to you and your orders stay organized.

Use the sign-up bar on the home page or the Login link in the navigation, then choose Register. Registration is free and unlocks the calculators, store, protocol portal, and community. After your first paid order our system also sends an invitation so your purchase history links to your email.

Consulting services are quote-first: add the tiers, add-ons, or monthly support you want to a quote request on the Services page. We confirm scope and send a custom payment link for the exact agreed amount, so nothing is charged until you approve. Shop products and any services marked for immediate purchase use the cart and secure Stripe checkout. Signing in keeps your order history visible in My Orders.

Pending orders are held for 24 hours via the Stripe session, then automatically dropped so your card is never charged. If you change your mind later, just rebuild your cart and check out again.

Failures are usually a declined card, an expired session, or a mismatched billing address. If your payment fails, the recorded reason appears in your order view so you and our team can resolve it; you can retry at checkout with an updated method.

Yes. All client information and discussions are treated as confidential and stored securely. We share anonymized case material only with your explicit consent. See our Privacy Policy for the full details.

Educational consulting is legal. Selling peptides labeled 'for research use only, not for human consumption' sits in a gray area and varies by state; medical prescribing requires a licensed physician and regulated pharmacy. We stay on the consultative side of that line and advise you to do the same.

No. Peptide research is evolving and individual responses vary widely. We guarantee rigorous, cited, transparent advisory work — not outcomes. Anyone promising specific results from peptides should be approached with caution.
